Digital Marketing Automation Manager

Controlled Holdings, an ‘Indiana Best Places to Work’ and an award-winning distributor of HVAC controls, is currently seeking a knowledgeable and creative Digital Marketing Automation Manager to join our team. This position would work with several different brands within our Controlled Holdings portfolio including Jackson Systems & Supply, iO HVAC Controls and Specified Controls.

Details, Details:

  • Email Marketing:
    • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage and nurture our audience.
    • Analyze email performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better results.
    • Implement segmentation and personalization strategies to enhance email effectiveness. 
  • Marketing Automation Strategy:
    • Develop and execute the company’s marketing automation strategy in alignment with business objectives.
    • Identify opportunities to automate marketing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Platform Management:
    • Oversee and manage marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
    • Ensure proper setup, integration with other tools, and data integrity within the platform. 
  • Campaign Development:
    • Create and optimize automated marketing campaigns, including email drip campaigns, lead nurturing sequences, and triggered responses.
    • Utilize dynamic content and personalization to enhance engagement. 
  • Lead Management:
    • Implement lead scoring and lead segmentation strategies to prioritize and qualify leads.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up. 
  • Data Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze marketing automation performance metrics.
    • Use data insights to make data-driven decisions and recommend improvements to enhance campaign effectiveness. 
  • Testing and Optimization:
    • Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing of automation workflows to optimize performance.
    • Continuously improve automation processes and campaigns based on results. 
  • Training and Support:
    • Train and support marketing and sales teams on utilizing marketing automation tools effectively.
    • Serve as the go-to resource for automation-related inquiries and troubleshooting. 
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor a team of direct reports responsible for various marketing functions, including paid digital advertising and social media.
    • Provide guidance, set targets, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure team success. 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field  
  • 5+ years in Digital Marketing 
  • 2+ years of management experience   
  • Experience with digital marketing functions including email marketing, paid and organic social, display advertising, paid search, SEO, ABM  
  • Prior experience working in Hubspot or other marketing automation platforms 
  • Creative innovator who stays up-to-date on current marketing trends  
  • Exceptional organization, presentation, and communication skills
