Territory Manager

Jackson Systems is currently seeking an energetic and driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team in the Midwest Territory!

The Territory Sales Manager is an outside sales role focused on identifying prospective clients, lead generation, prospect nurturing, CRM database maintenance and account management.

Details, Details:

  • Identify, research, qualify, and document (in the CRM) prospective customers
  • Source leads via phone prospecting, e-mail, in-person, professional networking, and strategic use of marketing collateral
  • Effectively manage a healthy pipeline to convert solid leads into landed accounts
  • Be on the road visiting customers and prospects 3+ days a week
  • Collaborate with third party sales representatives to coordinate sales calls and set appointments
  • Develop understanding of our business model and what constitutes a good customer opportunity
  • Assist with marketing activities
  • Maintenance of records in the CRM
  • Enter and follow-up on customer orders
  • Design and execute a business development strategy for each account that provides continuous, profitable growth
  • Participate in industry events and tradeshows as needed

What we are looking for:

  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Proven success with inside & outside sales tactics
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Exceptional organization, presentation, and communication skills
  • Possess a good understanding of ERP, CRM systems and MS Office
  • Being an enthusiastic team player
  • Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
  • 3-5 years of proven sales success
  • Highly self sufficient
  • Ability to travel within territory and potentially to the Indianapolis HQ on occasion
  • Industry experience is a plus
  • Technically inclined
